The Center for Social Research（CSR）of Peking University, founded in October 2012 by Professor Xie Yu[1] , who is the Visiting Chair Professor of Peking University, Professor of Princeton University, and member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and the National Academy of Sciences, is an academic entity attached to Guanghua School of Management of Peking University. The CSR has advocated rigorous sociological research and dedicated to promoting the objective understanding of contemporary China, providing training in quantitative social science research for young scholars in China, and developing cutting edge quantitative academic platform of social science research in the world.
