Dr. Feng Yang is an Assistant Professor at the Center for Social Research, Guanghua School of Management, Peking University. Prior to his current position, Dr. Yang served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Princeton University. He received his Ph.D. in Political Science and M.S. in Statistics from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2019.
Dr. Yang's research interests lie at the intersection of political economy, comparative politics, and applied statistics. By leveraging observational data, experiments, and formal modeling, his recent projects investigate bureaucracy, corruption, and state-business relations in developing countries, with a particular emphasis on China.
