Tak Wing Chan is a Professor of Quantitative Social Science at University College London, Institute of Education. Prior to UCL, he has worked at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development, the University of Oxford, and the University of Warwick. His main research interests are social stratification and mobility, family and the life course, and cultural sociology. His latest paper, Social mobility and the wellbeing of individuals, is coming out at the British Journal of Sociology.
